Republika Srpska's president in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Milorad Dodik, will not hold a year in prison for condemning the decisions of the international High Representative.
His prison sentence has been replaced by fines.
“Placed in the defense request of the convict, Milorad Dodik, to replace the prison sentence with fines, in accordance with legal rules, the Court decided that the proposal would be accepted and Dodik's sentence replaced by fine”, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina report said.
Dodik, in addition to his imprisonment, was sentenced to six years apart from political activity.
He must pay the fine of about 18 thousand euros for 30 days.
