The new Speaker of the Parliament, Dimal Basha, in “The KLA, which wrote as coauthor in 2012, had also quoted Dick Marty, former European Council reporter who wrote the 2010 report on alleged war crimes and organ trafficking.
In the mestule “Diasporat” and criminal-political ties, Basha had quoted the infamous Marty as writing about the KLA's dissolution.
After the conflict, the KLA itself was officially disbanded, however, many former commanders took other hats and entered politics. With politics came crime”, writes Basha and co-author Jana Arsovska in research titled “Globisation of the Western Balkans: Transnational crime, Fondimental Islam and the Alliance of Indirect”.

In addition to this “their research” had claimed that the KLA had recruited former prisoners, patriot and criminal thugs. Basha, a coauthor, had written that the KLA was financed by drug traffickers who had bought weapons in her name.
Meanwhile, Marty was appointed by the Council of Europe to investigate claims that initially appeared in the book of former Hague prosecutor Carla Del Ponte, citing organ trafficking by groups linked to the KLA.
In his report, he had cited the Drenica “group, linked to Hashim Thaci and other KLA figures, charging them with kidnappings, murders and trafficking of Serb and Kosovo Albanian prisoners' organs.
Dick Marty died in 2023 after coping with cancer.
