The deputy minister in office, Sa God answers MP Tahiri: Efforts to Distort Reality

Democratic Party of Kosovo MP (PDK), Abelard Tahiri, has reacted sharply to a Commercial Court decision, naming it a serious act against public interest and in the service of enriching a private company. According to him, the court has wrongly decided that the Public Local Company (NPB) will meet [...]
Tahiri recalls that this contract was signed during the second mandate of the Vetevendosje Movement at the helm of the Pristina municipality (2017%2021), and that the PDK had rejected and challenged it in legal ways.
The Commercial Court, founded by Albulen Haxhiu and the Vetevendosje Movement Parliamentary Group, has decided to harm public interest by enriching a private company at the expense of the overall interest and taxpayers of the Republic of Kosovo”, he wrote.
However, after this reaction, Deputy Justice Minister Blerim Saqu God has responded to a reaction by PDK deputy Ableard Tahiri, who accused Vetevendosje of undermining the Banere Company by forcing it to meet an expired contract.
Saqu has written on Facebook that Tahiri's response testifies not only to political instability but also to a total lack of personal and professional integrity.
“Yes, the Macedonian Court's decision is criminal and leaves room for criminal investigations but it is absurd and at the same time ridiculous that the former failed minister of justice, Abelard Tahiri, who once denied our role in establishing the Commercial Court, trying to present as the “of his own”, today, this person calls the Commercial Court of Albulance and Movement V. EVIDENCE! This behavior testifies not only to a lack of political consistency but also to a total lack of personal and professional integrity. It is impossible not to note the deep hypocrisy of a failed former justice minister who for years failed to push any reform and failed to build any functional institutions and today is trying to blame others for court decisions”.
The Commercial Court was founded during our mandate, with a clear aim to provide specialised, quick and impartial justice on economic issues. It is the institution of justice and not politics, and for this very reason, it cannot be either “Albulena”, nor that “ ”, nor any other “”. It's for citizens and businesses seeking justice”, Sacha has written.
