Three deputies in “play” for constitutionalisation of the Assembly

Three deputies and six rounds of voting have remained at “games”, in the final phase of the Assembly's constitutionalisation ♫ electing the deputy leader from among the Serb community. The two deputies of the Serbian List, Igor As enemies of Milan Nikolic, and Independent Liberal Party MP Nenad Rassic, have remained in the race. The day before, the chief parliamentman [...]
A day earlier, Chief Prime Minister Dimal Basha interrupted the session to give Rashiqi another opportunity to have the support of LVV deputies, but not parties that last mandate were in opposition
The election of one of these MPs has remained mostly six rounds of voting. Out of the lots withdrawal procedure, Miljana Nikolic could come out three times in the vote, Igor Siny twice Nenad Rassic's twice again. These are the only candidates in the race following the elimination of 7 other Serbian deputies, whose vote was consumed. 13 rounds of voting were issued at Thursday's session. The last was MP Rassic, for whose proposal the Speaker of the Parliament expressed satisfaction and tried to create more voting conditions.
I invite all MP colleagues back to the hall, take your seats. The next drawback candidate is Deputy Nenad Rassic... It is my pleasure to present Deputy Prime Minister Nenad Raspj” to the Republic of Kosovo before the Assembly of Kosovo, Chairman Dimal Basha has said.
Unlike 12 other times when Serbian List deputies did not receive any votes, Rashihqi was voted into a vote by 56 deputies from Vetevendosje and non-Serb minorities.
Against him was AAK deputy Lahi Brahimaj, the 20 PDK and Initiative deputies abstained.
The LDK, Serbian List and some AAK deputies did not participate in the vote either.
Since Rassic, who has LV support, did not get enough votes, the chief speaker did not continue the cast procedure, Koha reports.
Basha demanded that the next vote be held at the next session after, according to him, Rashiqi likely provided votes for deputy head of Parliament by Saturday, even asking MPs for commitments in that direction.
I think that during discussions with fellow deputies we have, there have been discussions that I think should continue further, where I appreciate that at the next session the MP in question could even get enough votes for Vice President”.
In addition to Slavko Simiqi, who ran under the Serbian List proposal, all other candidates of this party who were nominated by the lots have received zero votes for. Simiqi on Tuesday received 10 votes -- nine of the party -- and one of MEPs Adem Hoxha who joined the AAK group months ago.
But the vote for the Serbian List became clear that AAK would expel Hoxha from the group, which did not appear Thursday in the Assembly.
“We have made it clear that it cannot be a part of us if it does not vote according to the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo”, AAK deputy Time Kadrijaj said.
After nearly 60 sessions on Tuesday, Vetevendosje Movement MP Dimal Basha was elected to head Parliament, receiving 73 votes. The Assembly also elected three deputy speakers from Albanian parties: Albulen Haxhiu, Vlora Citak and Cameron Shala. Emilia Rexhepi was elected deputy head of non-Serb minorities, while the institution stalled in candidate voting for deputy chairman from the Serb minority.
Next session of the Constitutor is scheduled to be held on Saturday.
