Defence Ministry provides details about new autoblindas coming from America

The Defence Ministry has provided details for the ceremony where the acceptance of new autoblins from America took place.

Today, the solemn ceremony of accepting and handing over new autoblins, sponsored by the United States of America, was held for the Kosovo Security Force.

Prime Minister Albin Kurti, Defence Minister Ejup Macedonia, US Embassy Army attaché Lieutenant Colonel Jonathan Shaw, and KSF Commander Lieutenant Union Jashari participated.

This investment represents an important step in modernising the KSF, equipping it with technology and advanced tools for realising its constitutional mission.

Minister Macedonia stressed that continued support from the United States, our strategic and irreplaceable partner, is evidence of strong friendship and co-operation between our two countries.

With a steadfast dedication to the Western values and doctrine of the American Army, we are committed to a steady and progressive rise of our force, adopting weapons systems in line with NATO standards”, the minister said, among other things.

This commitment ensures that KSF is an advanced and interoperable force, ready to co-operate closely with the armies of Euro-Atlantic alliance member states, to create a secure and sustainable future for all our citizens.
