The Foundation Court in Pristina, the Randa Crime Department, has appointed the month-long detention measure to Hashim Rexhepi, owner and instructor at the signatory range “Stage-S”, due to criminal act “Cause of total risk”.
The serious case occurred on August 29th 2025 around 19:20, on “Driton Hoxha” in Pristina, where now the late East Sejdiu, 24, has lost his life after severe bodily injuries caused by the firearm at the range.
From preliminary investigations, Rexhepi allegedly acted carelessly and contrary to security regulations, allowing the use of the weapon without sufficient supervision. The victim is suspected of accidentally shooting himself at the part of the womb during gun manipulation, and thus passed away about 21:05 at QKUK.
The State Prosecutor, represented by Victory Prosecutor Sadij, has submitted the request for the detention assignment on August 30th, naming the case as high risk for obstructing procedure and impacting witnesses. The court has approved the motion, specifying the detention measure from 30.08.2025 to 30.09.2025./Periscopi/
