A dead and eight injured by fires, residents of seven villages in Grams

Some villages in the Gramsch municipality are controlled by smoke and flames that rise to a few feet high. The Defence Ministry has launched the evacuation of residents from the town of Kullolas, Blates, Menkolar, Shimer, Skenderbegas, Spain and Kazie, where about 200 people have so far fled.

Culllas, Blaise, Mencolar, and Shimer villages were completely burned and evacuated earlier. An elderly man about 80 years of age has lost his life in Cullolas, since he is suspected that the fire he had lit in his garden went out of control, causing the spread of his flames and asphyxiation.

In the village of Bulcar, one woman is reportedly stranded on the farm along with her two children and seeks immediate assistance from the authorities.

The intervention of ambulances and fire forces is very difficult because of mountainous terrain and powerful flames that pose a high risk to the lives of rescue teams./Periscopi/
