In a statement to Croatian media, Grlic '%dman said:
“Croatia is considering the possibility of joining a growing number of member states that, temporarily suspending part of co-operation with Israel, want to send a clear political message. ”
This co-operation is included within the Horizon Europe programme, the EU instrument for funding research and innovation, and the European Commission has proposed suspending members of Israel's involvement in the programme.
Grlic '%dman made it clear that this move does not mean the collapse of dialogue, but political pressure on Israel. The decision is projected to receive Croatia's support under the broader debate in the European Union. /Periscopi/
