The decision has been welcomed by parties that the previous mandate was in opposition, but has been criticised by the winning election party, the Vetevendosje Movement, which said “this is not justice”, but “armiries client”.
But there was no reaction from President Vjosa Osmani.
She has given her position on the historic agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
In her X account, she said this deal was evidence of what a strong American leadership can achieve.
“Under US leadership, the world is safer, stronger and more prosperous. Kosovo is proud to stand side by side with the US in advancing peace in our region and at a global level”, Osmani wrote.
Political analyst Africa Kasolli considers her <x0 use of” strange, while saying she would at least have to ask political subjects to comply with constitutional obligations.
