Today KEDS has launched massive cracks after the end of the deadline for businesses that have reached agreements with GER-launched suppliers.
“1400 businesses, mainly producers, are breaking down with violence from the power grid. Thousands of workers risk being left without jobs, without income for themselves and their families. Kosovo's citizen, exhausted by the high prices of basic products and energy, is now facing the risk of mass unemployment as a result of Kurti's disastrous decisions and his ERR click. The situation is alarming. This is just the continuation of deliberate efforts by LVV leadership and their subordinates to destroy the private sector, as they have with independent institutions. This totalitarian thinker belongs to the past century, and our society will not tolerate”.
The issue has also been reacted to by the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce and Industry, from where, through a media communique, violent liberalisation is said to risk leaving more than 22 thousand workers without jobs and seriously hitting the country's economy.
