There's not much right now that would make us believe this”, Petraus told ABC News.
According to him, “Vladimir Putin clearly does not intend to do so unless he is given additional territory, which is highly fortified, and Russian forces will have to struggle for years with the pace that is running”.
Petraus viewed Putin as the “barrier to peace”, while demanding that the United States increase aid for Ukraine:
