CEC: period continues for voting centre shift within municipality

The Central Election Commission has announced that periods for verification and changing the polling Centre within the municipality for Local Elections for Municipal Speakers and Municipal Framework are continuing.

This period, which began on June 28th, will end on August 29th 2025, said in the communiqué released for the media.

By this day (October 7th, August 0900) via electronic platform https://qv.kqz-x.org has been accepted 1,748 voter voting applications, out of which 1,581 have been approved, already 167 have been refused. In most cases rejected, applicants have not attached their photo by holding the identification document.

Switching the polling centre within the municipality is to the will of voters, in cases where they see it necessary so that they can set it as close as possible to their settlement.

During this period, citizens will rightly be able to verify their polling centre and if they want to change it, by setting it as close as possible in their municipality:

1. via CEC electronic platform: https://qv.kqz-x.org or
2. submitting application to the Municipal Election Commission in the municipality where the voter is registered.

Meanwhile, the change of the polling centre from one municipality to another is not directly possible by the CEC, but this is related to the official citizens/voters' statement.

To move from one municipality vote centre to the polling centre in another municipality, the voter must change his address to the Civil State Office or to the E-Kosovo platform.
