CEC Party Office recommends certificate of Serbian List candidates for local elections

The Office of Political parties in the Central Election Commission, which is obliged to review the application of political subjects and their candidates to be certified for participation in the elections, has positively recommended that Serbian List candidates be certified to run in the October 12th local elections. Indexline has secured the recommendation [...]
Indexline has secured the recommendation drafted by this CEC Office and the same will be presented to members of the CEC at the meeting, which will be held today at 5:00.
It is not known how representatives of parliamentary parties who are represented in the CEC will vote, and whether the same debate will be repeated as in December 2024, where the Serbian List for running in the February 9th parliamentary elections was strongly opposed by representatives of the Vetevendosje Movement.
This Office had prepared a positive recommendation even in December of last year, but had not gone to the CEC meeting. The Serbian list had complained in PZAP against the CEC's decision on non-corruption, and the same had won the case by ensuring participation in parliamentary elections. /Periscope/
