The mayor urged all citizens to show maximum care in nature and avoid actions that could cause fire. He also reminded private property owners that lighting fires is forbidden and poses a serious risk to life and environment”, the Kamenica municipality reported.
Rahimaj has also posted photos of fires in Kamenica, where KFOR has intervened.
Despite the fatigue and lack of days off, firefighters are doing their best to protect life, property, and the environment. The Fire Department is in full co-ordination with the Emergency Management Agency, as well as with KFOR professional teams, to ensure the most efficient intervention in each hearth,” said Rahimaj. /Periscope/
