“The LBK expresses regret that the ZRRE and Government have made a decision without deepening consultations, without analysis of economic impact, and without any clear passersover plans to ensure sustainable and affordable energy supplies to the private sector. It's not clear what agency Z is involved in. The RRE and Government, but it is evident that this direction is not in line with the needs and strategic interests of local producers and businesses, which are the main pillar of the country's economic development”, it says in response.
According to them, even the competent court has estimated that this decision is contrary to the legislation and has ordered its suspension, which makes the insistence on its implementation meaningless on the ERE.
The LBK requires that this decision be revised urgently and concrete measures be taken to prevent its implementation to a comprehensive full analysis, designed in co-operation with the business community and institutional partners.
“Seek transparency, responsibility and a reasonable approach in relation to such a vital issue for the economic future of Kosovo”, it is said among other things in response.
