In the announcement issued by the British Embassy, it has reportedly voiced concern over the recent tensions between Kosovo and Serbia, while warning even with Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq.
It has stressed the importance of resolving issues through dialogue mediated by the European Union.
“Dame Karen also underlined the United Kingdom's commitment to stability in the region and expressed positive expectations for Kosovo representatives' participation in the Berlin Process meetings, which will be held in the United Kingdom in October. Within its commitments, Dame Karen will also hold a conversation with Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vucic, to reaffirm the position of the United Kingdom and encourage constructive dialogue”, the report said.
Even charged with work at the US Embassy in Pristina, Annu Prattipati has expressed concerns about the actions of the Government of Kosovo in the north, making it clear that the US-Kosovo partnership is conditioned by commitment to stability, security and co-ordinated co-operation.
Prattipati has indicated that unilateral actions by the Kurti Government could seriously damage relations with the US./Periscopi/
