The National Centre for Border Management (QKMK) has announced that the border checkpoint in Globocica, between the Republic of Kosovo and Northern Macedonia, is provisionally closed.
According to the announcement, around 15:40 Macedonian authorities have informed the Kosovar side that, due to a major fire near the Jazynica village road and the risk it poses, at the order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State of the RMV Crisis Staff, the border has been sealed at this point.
Authorities call for caution and use of other border points until the normalisation of the situation.
