Bloodov: Two people are presented as police, trying to get money from citizens.

Two citizens in Gjakova have faced cases of phone fraud, where unknown persons have been introduced as police officials.

According to the police report on Facebook, in both cases suspects have demanded payment of 1,000 euros from victims, using various pretexts.

Cases have been initiated as a false “appearance as official person”, in consultation with the state prosecutor, and are being investigated by relevant police units.

The Regional Police Directorate in Gjakova appeals to citizens to be vigilant and not to fall prey to these frauds.
