MP The PDK, Artan Behram, has accused Vetevendosje Movement that it is deliberately promoting the Serbian List to address the Constitutional Court, with the aim of creating precedents that strengthen the position of this subject in forming institutions.
“Send to the Constitutional Court can create dangerous precedents, that without the participation of the Serbian subject, which represents the majority in the Serb community, the country's institutions cannot be established,” Behram wrote in a public response.
According to him, this move is part of a VV strategy to present the participation of the Serbian List in the Parliament as “constitutional obligation”, at a time when Kurti does not have the numbers to form Government. “is trying to package it as constitutional obligation and not as political agreement,” he added.
Behrami warns that such a decision by the Constitution would further tighten the constitutional space for Serbian representatives, leaving long-term consequences for institutional order in the country.
