Armenian Prime Minister Pasinyan added that this agreement represented the opening of a “peace chapter”.
“We are laying the foundation for a better story than we had in the past”, he added.
Armenia and Azerbaijan's “The countries are committed to ending all fighting forever”, Trump said.
Armenia and Azerbaijan reportedly agreed to establish a major transit corridor that will be called the Trump Road for Peace and International Prospers.
It will connect the continental Azerbaijan and its Nakhchivan region, which borders on Baku ally Turkey through Armenian territory.
