During this action, which was led by chief prosecutor Joy Vucetaj, authorities seized about 17 thousand euros, a firearm, metal bars, knives, as well as additional materials related to alleged criminal work.
Basic Prosecutor's spokesman in Pec, Shkodran Nikci, indicated that requests for the detention measure are expected to be submitted to those arrested.
The state prosecutor within the legal deadline will apply to the competent court for determining the detention measure against the 13 persons who have been arrested and detained”, Nikci told Telegrafi.
He also announced that the decision has already been made to open investigations into criminal work “organising pyramid schemes and illegal gambling”.
Investigations into this case are continuing, while the seized evidence will be used in criminal procedure.
