The Kosovo Appeals Court, the General Department, has refused as groundless complaints by defendants' defenders Liman Salauka, Jevat Salauka, Nedimi Krasniqi and Ramadan Pacarizi, confirming the Constitutional Court's decision in Prizren on August 6th 2025, with which the same have been assigned the detention measure of one month, from August 4th to September 4th 2025.
Prizren's chief prosecutor, Petrit Kryeziu, has led the arrest and investigations.
The Constitutional Court in Prizren, through the decision of August 6th 2025, had assigned the detention measure to Liman Salauca, Gevat Salauka, Nexmi Krasniqi and Ramadan Pazizi, arrested under suspicion of forced duty, illegal weapons and tax evasion, reports the “Bettim for Justice”.
According to Appeal, the Foundation's decision is fair and does not contain violations of legal provisions, while there is the belief that defendants committed the criminal acts they are suspected of, on the basis of material evidence and material paperwork.
The court has estimated that releasing them in freedom would endanger annihilation, hiding, counterfeiting or changing evidence, and affecting witnesses and injuries. Taking into account the burden of criminal acts, the manner and circumstances of the conduct, as well as the personal characteristics of the defendants, Apel has found that the detention measure is necessary and reasonable at this stage of procedure.
According to the Foundation's decision, there is suspicion based on the fact that Liman Salauka, Jedvat Salauka, Nexmi Krasniqi and Ramadan Pazizi, during November 2024, have acted as members of a group to force the E.M. damage. to withdraw from a land dealing deal, causing it rich damage and illegally profiting. Also to Ramadan Pacarizi, it also burdens suspicion of tax evasion, since he allegedly did not declare the actual circulation of a 250 thousand-euro transaction, avoiding tax duties for 130 thousand euros.. /Periscopi/
