Olsien Muchobega, who was on the engine, held the animal on his arm and quickly removed it from the danger zone. This courageous and human act of young Tepelena was experienced with emotion by the Greek public, making it a symbol of solidarity and humanity in a day filled with tragedy.
According to reports by local media, this was not the only case when Mucobega intervened to save lives. He confessed that during the same day he managed to remove even some dogs, who were left bound and abandoned by their owners.
Olsienne, who came to Greece at the age of 3, has spent her life working in various professions, such as painter, distributor and restaurant worker. He is married to a Greek woman and has two children -- Georgiana and Jasona -- reports Euronews Albania, broadcasting Periscope.
Despite living in Greece as a child, he continues to face difficulties with documentation, stressing with disappointment:
I can't get the permission I have, even though I had to have the Greek passport for a long time”.
On fire day, Olsienne was on the scene, along with members of a local society, helping firefighters to contain the flames. He describes himself as a man of great passion for animals and a desire to help every living being in danger. The animals he saved belonged to an elderly farmer who tried hard to protect his property.
Although many consider Olsienne to be a hero, it does not give this action such a color. To him, it was a natural response to doing what was needed at a time when life and nature were threatened with destruction. /Periscope/
