Why doesn't Albania have any fireplanes?

Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted to discussions on the need for the purchase of fireplanes, stressing that, although it may be good for Albania to have more air vehicles, last days' fires cannot be dealt with only by aircraft.

Rama has invited citizens to examine further the causes and consequences of fires, referring to the situation in neighbouring countries such as Greece, Italy, Turkey and Spain, which are facing the same problem, despite the already advanced fleets for firemen.

He has stressed that it is important to understand that the consequences of fires require a broader approach.
