After reading the indictment by prosecutor Fikrije Fejzullahu, the accused Bibai said he feels innocent of the work he is being charged with, reports “Justice Vow”, broadcast Periscope.
The case's judge, Qrimja Shyti, announced the parties that in the 30-day term, they have the right to apply for dropping the indictment and rejecting evidence.
Also, at this hearing the defender of the accused Bibaj, lawyer Blerim Bajrami proposed to the court that the accused cease the detention measure, or any other alternative measures be appointed.
On this proposal, case prosecutor Fikrije Feyzullahu said she remains close to the Court's decision to continue the detention measure.
Later, Judge Shyti rejected the lawyer Bajrami's proposal, leaving the detention measure in force under the court's decision of August 18th 2025.
According to the Special Prosecutor's Act of the Republic of Kosovo, founded on 13 August 2025, Alban Bibaij is accused of publicly promoting and spreading hatred and failure among religious groups, as well as propaganda of extreme religious ideology.
