There's been a month since the Infectious Clinic of University Clinical Centre (QKUK) there is a lack of therapy for patients affected by Hepati B.
There are 680 patients deprived of Tenofvir pills, which is on the list of essential drugs, which the state has to secure for free.
From the Infectious Clinic, they said that they are currently based solely on donations, which are not enough to cover needs.
We give this tablet every two months to patients with Happy B. We've already been supplied temporarily with donations, but not enough. We hope that it will be resolved as soon as possible, since if patients do not receive this therapy, it is possible to restore the disease. For further questions please head to Central Barattore”, it says in a response to the clinic.
The Central Barnator has refused to discuss the matter, and since July 23rd, they have not even answered the questions. TIME-if there are any concrete plans for regular supplies with this therapy.
And, at Clinical and University Hospital Service (SHSKUK), said the problem represents the lack of interest of economic operators in offering for this bar.
“We are informed of the lack of Tenofvir therapy, we have opened the procurement procedure, but there are no interested operators. The same is in re-initiation”, said the SHSKUK's response.
Hepatitis B is an infectious disease that affects the liver. It can cause both acute and chronic infections.
According to the response offered by the Infectious Clinic, this is the first time facing a lack of this therapy, but within the KKUK itself, complaints about the lack of drugs that are part of the essential list are daily.
Last week, KOHA has reported missing many drugs and materials at KKUK and regional hospitals, including those basics as a sheet of gloves. There is also a lack of glucose, Zemothan, gemzar, fraxiparine, and others. /Periscope
