Over 61 thousand citizens from Kosovo crossed into Albania today

The large number of citizens and vehicles has caused long lines and delays.

Only at the Morina border point, from morning hours to noon, over 61 thousand citizens from Kosovo have entered with about 19 thousand vehicles.

This has caused long lines of vehicles stretching to the depths of Kosovo territory, reports RT S, broadcast Periscope.

High-flows has been registered in the south of the country.

In Kakavida, Albanian border authorities have worked out over 11,000 citizens, out of whom over 7 thousand only at the entrance, as well as about 3 thousand vehicles. To cope with the influx, the Albanian side has worked with 6 sportses, while the Greek side has 4 sports.

Heavy cargo was also noted at the Shkodra border points. Over 32,000 citizens have been worked out in Muriqan and Han of Hoti, out of whom 14,000 at the entrance of Albania, with a total of 11,000 vehicles.

About 10,000 entrances have been recorded in the Captica, of which 6 thousand only at the entrance, while in Qafe they said they have spent about 11,000 citizens, out of them 60,000 in Albania.

Border authorities have announced they are working with full capacity to manage the flow, while it is expected that the influx of citizens from Kosovo and Albanian immigrants will continue in the coming days due to the tourist season. /Periscope
