During the past 48 hours, Albania has faced a difficult situation because of the spread of fires in several parts of the country.
However, thanks to the efforts of over a thousand of the 100 emergency forces, assisted by more than 400 FA members, the situation is presenting more stable today.
The Ministry of Defence in the balance it has released suggests that a total of 57 fires have been reported, of which 29 still remain active, with high concentrations in circles -- Vlora, Berat, Debar, Elbasan and Tirana, writes A2CNN.
Fire forces, the effectiveness of the Armed Forces, local authorities and support structures have intervened with high intensity in the most affected areas, using over 65 fire vehicles, 3 FA helicopters and international support from Italy and the United Arab Emirates.
In some cases, evacuation of residents has also been made to avoid human losses, such as Grams and Delvine, where the situation reached a critical point Tuesday evening.
