After 19 days of intensive research, Turkish authorities have found the body of businessman Halit Yukay, whose boat had been found half drowned and damaged off the coast of Artaxerxes, on the Sea of Marmara.
On August 4th, businessman Halit Yukay sailed alone to Mykono on his boat “Grayolf” and had a tragic end. That same day, at 15:10 a.m., his relatives announced to the authorities, having no news about him. On August 5, about 2: 30 p.m., a merchant ship sailing near Turancöy reported that parts of the boat were half sunken on the surface of the sea.
Born in 1982, Halit Yukay owned the Mazu Yachts company, which produces luxury yachts. He started his professional career as a shipbuilding worker and had a dream of creating his own company. Something he achieved in 2011 with Mazu Yachts known in Turkey for his designs and technologies.
His company has built several yacht series in recent years, from Mazu 82, 24.9m to its main ship, 132 DS 40.2 meters./Periscopi/
