A person in Prizren has lost his life as a result of stab wounds.
Police spokesman for the Prizren region, Sacir Bytyqi, has confirmed that the suspect “has been located and arrested and that knives allegedly used during the raid have also been found in case of”.
The prosecutor's decision suspect has been detained for 48 hours.
The case occurred Sunday evening in the village of Zhur.
The victim was first sent to the Prizren Regional Hospital emergency, while from there it was sent for treatment at KKUK in Pristina, where it died as a result of the injuries.
“Stonte, dated 10,08.2025, around 21:20, Kosovo police have accepted information that a person with injuries has been sent to Prizren Regional Hospital emergency. According to doctors, the victim, the male, had been stabbed and in serious health. He has been sent to QKUK treatment in Pristina, where he later passed away as a result of the wounds received”, Bytyqi has announced.
Also announced in the case is the guardian prosecutor, and further legal actions are under way, Bytyqi has said./Periscopi/
