Zelensky tells what he discussed on the phone with Trump after the American president spoke to Putin

Voldymyr Zelensky said he has talked with US President Donald Trump about the need to strengthen Ukraine's air defence, in terms of the escalation of Russian attacks on Ukrainian cities.

In a brief note on their call, published in the telegram, he said the American president was the best informed “” for the situation in Ukraine. They discussed opportunities for air protection and agreed to work to increase air space protection.

Zelensky also added that they have discussed opportunities for joint weapons production, stressing that they are ready for direct projects with the US, as well as for acquisitions and other joint investments.

The Ukrainian president also conveyed congratulations on the United States Independence Day, thanks for the current US support.
