For this threat, Selimi hinted at “the remains of illegal structures” which, according to her, require institutional stability and a “wideer” strategy of Serbia against Kosovo.
“The recent bomb threat in the Republic of Kosovo Assembly should not be seen as an isolated case. This threat comes at an angry and tense time everywhere. Our institutions are targeted not only by individuals or remains of illegal structures within the country that do not want institutional stability, but also by a broader strategy by Serbia to keep Kosovo in constant crisis. Serbia consistently exercises political, diplomatic and psychological pressure on Kosovo, including efforts to destabilise through propaganda and hybrid threats”, it has written.
Kosovo police today said the threat of explosive vehicles in the Kosovo Assembly was sent by message.
Parliamentary deputies and all in attendance were ordered to evacuate today shortly before the launch of the session under bomb suspicion.
The session will continue at 8:00 today.
