British Ambassador Reexemplifies Support for Supreme Court
The president of the Supreme Court of Kosovo, Feyzullah Rexhepi, has hosted Kosovo's Ambassador to Great Britain, Jonathan Hargrees, with whom he has discussed the last situation in the country, judicial reform and the challenges this system is facing.
Chairman Rexhepi expressed deep gratitude for the support of Great Britain towards Kosovo, the judiciary and the Supreme Court in particular, revealed before the ambassador, the extraordinary work done by the entire judicial system, especially in recent years, despite the ongoing challenges facing this system.
The Supreme Leader clarified the fact that despite recent developments, the judiciary is far from political, independent, accountability and transparent in its work.
On the other hand, Ambassador Hargreaves reaffirmed Great Britain's support to the Supreme Court, noting the importance of maintaining the judiciary's independence.
