Asked by journalists what the new deadline will be, he has said it is “10, or 12 days from today”.
During the meeting in the Oval Office with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, a few weeks earlier, Trump had threatened both Russia and its countries buying its exports at severe tariffs of up to 100 percent if a peace agreement is reached within 50 days.
