To encourage people entering the US to implement their visa terms, President Donald Trump (79) has announced an additional fee.
As some American media reports, including CNBC, referring to Trump's new budget law, the so-called “Tarifa Visa Integrity” will be at least 250 dollars for a fiscal year -- October 1st 2024 to September 30th 2025.
The tariff is expected to be restored as well, provided those who enter the country abide by their rules of stay and leave on time.
The fee must be paid at the time of the visa issue. If the application is refused, no further tariffs apply. This fee applies to all applicants for non-imigration visas, including visa tourists B-1/B-2, business travellers, international students, exchange students and qualified temporary workers.
Under the law, the tariff is intended to finance US visa implementation and border security measures, including increased law enforcement personnel (ICE), detention centres and border wall construction./Periscopi/
