Speaking to reporters outside his Turnberry golf course, Trump was asked if he agreed with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's assessment that there was no continued hunger in Gaza due to lack of assistance.
He goes on to say he needs to get more help and adds that the US has “done a lot for this”.
Asked whether Israel has done enough to prevent civilian casualties in Gaza, Trump says: “I think that no one has done anything great there the whole country is a mess. ”
It calls for <x0 food and security now”.
Referring to Israeli hostages, the American president says he has always said that when the last 20 remain, Hamas will not release because this is their defence”.
“Something will have to be”, he adds.
Trump goes on to say that Hamas has “changed completely” and does not want to release about 20 hostages who are still alive, as well as bodies of those killed, which he calls “very unfair”.
He says he told Netanyah that “now you'll have to do it another way”.
“A truce is possible”, he continues. You have to stop it. ”/Periscope
