His comments came after the UN humanitarian chief said large “units were needed to avoid hunger
On Sunday, the Israeli Army began actions that, according to her, would improve the “humanitarian response” in Gaza and reject the false “interpretation of deliberate hunger”.
Israel announced that there would be a local “tactical pause” in three Gaza areas for 10 hours a day, as well as the creation of “specific road” for aid needs.
The military also allowed relief shipments carried out by foreign countries to resume, despite humanitarian agencies' warnings that the method was inefficient and dangerous.
Israeli military organisation Coga, which co-ordinates the entry of aid to Gaza, said more than 120 truckloads of aid were collected from UN and other international organisations' crossing points on Sunday, and that hundreds of other truckloads were expected to be collected.
