US President Donald Trump's administration has restored diplomatic focus in the Balkans, sending a senior official for an official visit to three countries in the region of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Kosovo.
Brendan Hanrahan, senior official at the Bureau for European and Eurasian Affairs in the State Department, has announced through a post on the X platform that he is headed towards the Balkans after talks in Dayton and Washington.
