In the ups and downs, there has not been enough vote for the formation of the Commission for the secret vote, which is necessary for the election of the Speaker of the Parliament. The head of the session, Avni Dehari, has asked political subjects who have not yet proposed representatives PDK, LDK, Serbian List and AAK- NISMA do this, but so far there has been no answer.
Meanwhile, the country's president, Vjosa Osmani, has submitted a request to the Constitutional Court for interpretation concerning the legal consequences that could follow if the Assembly is not constitutionalised within the 30-day deadline set with the Constitution.
At a media conference on Tuesday afternoon, Osmani said the request is biased and aimed at ensuring the democratic functioning of institutions.
“The current situation presents an unprecedented case in Kosovo's political life and that the lack of consensus for the constitutional framework within the constitutional deadline has created a serious uncertainty in the judicial aspect of”, she said.
Any non-compliance should have legal consequences, but they have not been clarified so far. Our demand is essentially to clarify these consequences if the Assembly is not binding on time. This is an attempt to prevent irreversible consequences for the country's constitutional order”, Osmani added./Periscopi/
