Terrorist attack on Banjska, next session is held today

The Constitutional Court in Pristina today is expected to hold court hearings for the “Banjska” case against accused Blagoje Spasojevicq, Vladimir Tolic and Dusan Maksimovic. The session is to be held at 9:00.

The three indictees face grave charges of involvement in the events of September 24th 2023 in the village of Banjska in the Zvecan municipality, where an armed attack on the Kosovo Police led to the death of Sergeant Africa Bulnjak and the injuries of several other members of police.

While witness Rade Nedelkovic, who was a guard at the “Ranjska Banjska” hotel hotel, during his testimony Tuesday has shown how four people had brought a wounded man to the hotel critical day.

Nedelkovic, has said that some of the group members were accommodated in the hotel where he worked. Along with them, he said that he was also a wounded person.

He said he was forced to issue that they were armed and didn't dare refuse. He said he didn't know who they were because they were wearing masks.

The DA asked the witness if he knew Milan Radojqi. The Witness said that he heard of it but that he has never seen. The prosecutor asked him if Radojqik was ever in his hotel.

I think it once was, because even if it came, it would come a little bit differently”, the witness responded.

“Do you think he was organising this group”, the special prosecutor continued.

And he's admitted himself, whatever I think he's taken responsibility for himself. He himself had not dared to do this”, the witness stated.

Even Halim Behramaj testified Tuesday. He has said he works investigative police at the Mitrovica traffic unit.

A border unit has announced that a barricade has been deployed in Banjska. Two units have immediately continued in that direction, in two minutes with colleague Avni Shala, we have continued behind them, if they need assistance. 500-600 meters without going to the village of Banjska, we meet them and we move on to Banjska. There were three police cars... after we arrived in the village of Banjska, we were 30 meters from our third barricade. We got out of the car, the cops who were in the first car got to the barricades. At that moment police officer Elez Peci has warned us that it could be a trap and that we have started to disperse”, he said.

He has said that at the site where the barricades have been, there has been complete enlightenment, while in the village, total darkness.
