For this, the Kosovo National Institute of Public Health has come up with a list of guidelines for citizens on how to protect themselves from these temperatures and stay safer.
The heat wave that is prevalent these days can negatively affect the health and well-being of citizens, especially vulnerable groups. Long periods with high temperatures during day and night create body stress and increase the risk of disease or deaths from exposure to heat”, warns I KSHPK.
IK The KPS called for mass hydration, while warning of more vulnerable groups, including children who said they should guard against exposure to the sun and never be left on parked vehicles.

Action to take to protect:
• Stay away from the heat: Avoid appearances and heavy activities during the hottest hours. Stay in the shade and spend 2-3 hours in a cool place.
• Keep your body fresh and hydrated: Use light clothing (picture), take fresh showers, wet your skin, and drink water regularly (1 cup/h) 2-3 liters/day).
• Keep the house fresh: Fly at night when it's cooler outside. By day, close your windows, and use curtains to prevent sunlight.
