The Ministry of Internal Affairs has ruled through which fires are strictly prohibited in all open environments, including burning waste, forests, fields, meadows, recreation, picnics, and fireworks.
Under the decision, lighting fires is a criminal offence and that violators of this decision will immediately face punitive measures under legislation in effect.
The “call on all citizens to show maximum care and respect this decision, avoiding any action that could trigger fire or spread it”, the report says.
The MPB invited citizens to report competent organs in the emergency number 193 or Kosovo Police in 192 in case of fire - fire remarks.
In recent days, such as high temperatures, the country has faced many fires, with significant damage in some cases. /Periscope/
