According to him, Popovic, who is a deputy director in the so-called “Office for Kosovo” in Serbia, has been promoting hatred and interethnic divisions in the Republic of Kosovo with his statements.

Igor Popovic, assistant director of the so-called “Office for Kosovo” in Serbia, has delivered a speech today in Rahovec. His statements during the speech have stirred hatred and interethnic divisions in our country. He has named the Kosovo Liberation Army (UÇK) as a terrorist organisation, comparing its actions to serious events in world history.
For this reason, the government of Serbia official has been detained at the Brnjak border checkpoint and then sent to the police station in North Mitrovica. Measures are expected to be taken against him under law in our country.
I want to stress that the Republic of Kosovo is a democratic and sovereign state. We have neither violated another country, nor provoked the population of another country, nor will we allow such actions against us.

The statements of the Milani model, which the Serbian political administration led by Vuciq still lives and scatters them everywhere, are punishable because they are divisive, untrue because they are invented, and harmful because they are contrary to any international standards of neighbourhood and progressive societies.
