The move comes as part of a series of new measures aimed at Iran-backed militant group.
According to Reuters, through a statement by the American Treasury Department, two individuals and five sanctioned subjects are among the biggest importers of oil products and beneficiaries of money laundering helping Houth.
We remember that since the start of Israel's Gaza war, Iran-backed Hobbits have repeatedly attacked ships at the Red Sea, naming these attacks as acts of solidarity with Palestinians.
In January, President Donald Trump reclassified the Houthi movement as a foreign terrorist organisation with the aim of imposing stricter economic penalties in response to their attacks on commercial ships and American warships protecting this strategic naval corridor.
In May, however, the United States announced an unexpected deal with Houth, in which it agreed to stop the bombing campaign in exchange for stopping attacks on ships. However, Houth stated that the agreement did not include suspending their actions against Israel. /Persycope/
