According to Bloomberg billionaires' index, Gates's wealth fell from $175 billion on 3 July to only $112 billion on 11 July, writes A2 CNN. This decline resulted in Bloomberg's review of the methodology to better reflect the high level of Gates charity and its commitment to distributing wealth over the next two decades.
In a blog post on May 8th, Gates said that nearly all of his remaining assets will go to the Gates ʹ charity Foundation, which he founded with former husband Melinda Franch Gates. The foundation is expected to complete its mission by 2045.
I mean a lot of things about me when I'm dead, but I don't want one of them to be rich dead.”, Gates wrote. “There are many urgent problems to solve to keep sources that can help people”.
Gates, who for almost 18 years has been the richest man in the world, has long claimed that his children will inherit less than 1% of his wealth. After reviewing from Bloomberg, he fell from 5th to 12th place on the billionaires list, positioning behind friend and former Microsoft executive chief Steve Ballmer.
According to Bloomberg's latest data on July 12th, the world's richest man is the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, Elon Musk, followed by Mark Zuckerberg (Meta), Larry Ellison (Oracle), Jeff Bezos and Steve Ballmer. /Periscopi/
