Signal through sources learns the detainee is Bojan Jevtiić, High-ranking police official, who simultaneously held the position of deputy commander and chief of operations at one of the police facilities in the northern part of Kosovo.
Yevtic has been under investigation and long-standing surveillance due to allegations based on co-operation with Serbia's structures and the flow of sensitive information with national security character.
His arrest was made by the IPK, while the operation has been conducted in co-operation with other security agencies and under the authorization of the Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo.
After the arrest, authorities have undertaken raids on its personal and official locations, where electronic equipment, documents and data were seized, allegedly used for his alleged criminal activity.
The case has alarmed security structures and is expected to have further arrests on the nature of criminal acts./Periscopi/
