Serbian officials obstructed national flag, fail meeting with KKS in Bujanoc

A meeting between the president of the Serbian government's (TK) Co-ordination Body for Presevo, Bujanopc and Medvedja, Aleksandar Martinovic, task manager of the KK service office in Bujanoc, Nenad Mitrovic and Albanian National Council Chairman Enkel Rexhepi, has failed because the two Serbs have refused to hold a meeting in a hall where the Albanian national flag was deployed.

So Rexhepi himself has said through a Facebook post, which states that since the meeting request, as well as during the organisation of the meeting details, by officials of the Co-ordination Body had malicious tendencies that, as such as such, the “but, of course, trends were that the burden of guilt for the failure of the meeting fell upon the Albanian National Council”.

Initially, according to him, their demand was that the meeting be held at the Co-ordination Body service facilities in Bujanoc, and after our refusal, our next request, <x0, even more absurd than the first, was that the meeting be held in, as they said, neutral resolution, or the small House of Culture Hall in Bujanoc”.

“These absurd requirements, which essentially constitute the non-recognition of the National Council, as the only institution representing Albanians, in turn received the defined response, that the meeting should be held in the spaces of the KKS” headquarters.

Even after agreeing through official communication between the Co-ordination Body and the Council Service, the next requirement was for the meeting to be held, but in areas where there is no flag deployed”.

“In these spaces, from the establishment of the Council as an institution until now, various meetings have been held with Serbia's state officials and representatives, in the very spaces where the national flag is located”.

“Therefore, the information that the national flag will stay in the spaces where the meeting was envisioned, officials of the Co-ordination Body were clear, and on these premises today's meeting was agreed on at 14:308x1>, Rexhepi said.

All this development, he calls the scenario weak, prepared only for media spectacles, <x0kins chairman of the Co-ordination Body felt surprised with the national flag in the meeting office, was the scene as exuberant, just as deignive for a state representative”.

Rexhepi says the demands of Albanians, before being discussed at the previous meeting, were to discuss the Action Plan for the period 2023-2026, approved by the Government of Serbia itself, and where the Co-ordination Body was mediator in its implementation.

He also said Martinovici would be made an open request so that the Actional Plan will be discussed only at high state levels, even after only a report on how far its implementation has been implemented so far and what will be concrete steps in the future.

“On the contrary, any attempt through Martinovic and Mitrovici that, with symbolic support of specific projects and empty dialogue, is only prolonging and trying to escape from the responsibility they have to the documents signed by state institutions”, Enkel Rexhepi, chairman of the Albanian National Council, stressed.

In the end, he said that for the situation created today, all diplomatic representations and embassies operating in Serbia, as well as Tirana and Pristina, will be announced in detail. /Periscope.
