From the MPJ say that through the Interconnecting Office in Belgrade, intensive efforts for fair treatment and institutional addressing the case of former police officer Arbnor Spahiu's arrest by Serbian authorities are continuing.
“Z. Spahiu was arrested on June 7th 2025, and the initial detention measure was submitted on June 9th. Subotica's Supreme Prosecutor has initiated criminal proceedings with claims of involvement with Mr. Spahiu in Banjska's case, however, according to the defence attorney, no credible evidence or evidence has so far been presented that would burden his legal position. The lawyer has announced that he has handed over all relevant documents issued by the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo, including documents proving that Mr. Spahiu had left the Kosovo Police years before the Banjska event”, the KK reports. /Periscopi/
