The head of SBASK, Nundman Jashar, said that since 2022, AugustI has blocked any possibilities for constructive dialogue, not displaying the will to address the legitimate requirements of teachers.
SBASK representatives criticised the failure to comply with the Constitutional Court's decisions on labour experience and the establishment of the wage cofficiency.
Meanwhile, even though the SBASK submitted a new draft of the Kolective contract since November 2024, no step has been taken for its approval.
The exemption of education representatives from professional decision-making troops was also denounced in Congress, as well as the lack of their involvement in the Commission for Teaching License.
The SBASK warned that if until 20 August 2025 does not resume dialogue with the Ministry of Education and concrete steps are not taken to resolve the requirements raised, union actions, including the strike, always in line with the union law and statute, will be taken.
In conclusion, Congress has adopted a resolution requiring the establishment of a Special Team for Reconstruction and union innovation so that the SBASK can more strongly protect the rights of education workers and have greater impact on educational policies in Kosovo.
