The governor of the Chernivtsi region, Ruslan Zaparanyuk, said two people were killed and 14 were injured when Russian drones and missiles hit the town, which is located about 40km from the Ukrainian border with Romania.
Regional officials announced that several fires broke out throughout the city, and dwellings and administrative buildings were damaged.
In the town of Lviv, near the Ukrainian border with Poland, 46 residential houses, university buildings, city courts and about 20 buildings where small and medium-sized businesses are located were damaged by the attack, said Mayor Andrij Sadvij. /Periscope/
